hi, I'm new to the world of vintage Omegas and have been watching the privates sales here and eBay for my first purchase... Which has been a lesson in patience. I came across this model today and know that I don't have the knowledge to determine its legitimacy... Price gives me concern and that I haven't seen a Quartz one like this before (though I'm only in my infancy with these watches). I know you all get a lot of these inquiries, but would someone tell me if it is fake or real? If real, why the lack of interest? Would love to learn more. Not only do I believe it's a real watch, I believe it's a real Omega MD 196.0281. Need to see inside the case back to confirm. I believe @ulackfocus can explain the lack of interest. There's a thread on another site about the same model.
