Is this Watch real of fake?

I have purchased a Speedmaster Automatic from Ebay but I am yet to pay for it. The dial looks like a "reduced" dial but it is either a completely different model or a fake. It has the following features:

1. Applied Logo and Brand Name - I don't think that the any of the "reduced" black dials had applied logo
2. The seconds hand has a feature that looks like the classic professional
3. Clasp says "Omega Speedmaster Professional" but the dial says Automatic
4. The case back says "broad arrow" but the hands are not broad arrow
5. The end link says "455B".

Any assistance would be appreciated.

This needs to go into the Is this Real of Fake thread.

Fake, do not buy.
Congrats on stopping to ask before purchasing though! A lot of people ask after the purchase.

Do you mean it is not even genuine Omega parts cobbled together?
Now you're getting it. In fact, no single part of it even resembles anything authentic. It's all garbage.

If you're not immediately on to the fact that this is a really bad fake you probably should take some time before you buy anything outside of a Swatch.

I think they may have posted this listing photos and have yet to execute the payment through eBay. Could we call this "eBay parking"? They buyer wins an auction, sends offer that is accepted, or selects buy it now, which is essentially a hold until payment is processed, pushing them through to the payment screen. Then before submitting payment they can either proceed with payment or cancel the order.

Here is another instance of something similar I read about a while back:
"I have an item that is not in high demand and has been listed for about six weeks with no action. Someone made a reasonable offer today and I accepted. Eight hours later they message me asking if they can pay on Tuesday. I honestly don’t mind holding the item and waiting to ship until they submit payment..."

I think it’s pretty dishonest and rude to select to purchase an item and then not follow through with payment. But since the seller, in this case, is selling a fugazi, I guess I don’t care. These guys deserve each other.

This is a pretty good illustration (on both counts) of why I tend to avoid eBay.

It also messes things up when legitimate mistakes are made.

Seems to be a lot of cynicism in the water today.

I still enjoy the thrill of the hunt. Assume everything is fake and research to prove otherwise.
Noobs fall into the trap of not doing due diligence. Great care must be taken jumping into the deep end before learning to swim. Best to wade into the shallow before beginning any collection.
I don't spend more than I can afford to lose and I eat it if I make a mistake.

Oh I should clarify, I don't condone the practice I was describing. Was just illustrating a infuriating practice I've been reading about. If you're gonna buy, buy; I agree it's definitely pretty rude not follow through.
