    Hello ladies and gents
I am new to the world of watch collecting and I’m looking at purchasing a vintage seamaster. The other day I came across this watch for £320. Is this deal to good to be true?

Sounds like a fair price for that watch, but only if the inside looks as good as the outside.

It's an early 60's front loading 166.xxx caliber 55x. Seems to have the correct hands & crown.

That dial has been refinished. AUTOMATIC is at a different angle to OMEGA and the Seamaster script isn't right. So there's a very good reason why it's only £320.

I think you're right but the photos are bloody lousy. The angles and shadows make it hard to tell much ... like what's going on with the 12 and 6 markers?

Case has seen the bad side of a polishing wheel a few times.
