There are definitely some replacement pieces on it, and I don't think all of them are official Omega parts. The bezel is the first thing that jumps out at me. Wait for more informed opinions as I'm not a dive watch guy.
The Chinese made cases often have those bright yellow numbers, so I agree I would pass on that one. Cheers, Al
I noticed that the genuine original ones here have lume that has aged to a brown color but have seen others from the same period, mid to late 60's that have aged green lume. Is there a reason for this?
Thanks Pitpro, it has been bugging me for a while. I haven't really begun to bone up on these yet but have wondered why some that look ok to my untrained eye get passed over and another that looks a bit on the rough side will go for several grand. This one keeps getting listed with no bids so there must be something seriously wrong with it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Vintag...234004879?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item338293038fPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
