Hi guys, I just started looking at vintage watches and need help identifying if the watch is genuine.
I'm thinking of buying this Seamaster 30, but by comparing with other Seamasters 30 it seems like the "S" of the "Seamaster" is different. The crown looks odd too but I'm not sure cause I'm still learning.
If it's genuine how much do you think I should pay for it?

    Thanks!!

This is a nice watch. Probably been worked over a few times. You can easily get the authentic replacement parts at Ofrei.com (hands and crown). Looks to have a bent lug, too. I could be a watch that has been put together from other parts. The dial has probably been refinished. Best way to check if everything is original to the watch would be to open it up. If the movement is the original, it has a reasonable amount of value.
