Hello All - I am very seriously considering buying this SM Calendar BUT I have NEVER seen the word "calendar" above the word "Seamaster"?
Please can the experts chime in - the Seller has offered to order an Extract s-l1600.jpg from The Omega Archives to prove authenticity.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Let him pay for the extract. As far as I know, it won't say anything about how Calendar and Seamaster are positioned on the dial so it's useless in proving whether it's a redial or not. I couldn't find another example either. .Do you have any more photos? I think the lugs are pretty overpolished, also.

"T" on the dial but none on the hands or ends of the hour markers... Guessing the hands may not be the original. maybe someone whith a better monitor can tall if it is actually in the valley in the markers, as the coloring looks like either gunked-up onyx or dirty lume. Didn't think Omega crystals came with cyclops either. Any more photos?

Refinished dial and case in poor shape.

Seamaster should be above calendar among many problems with the printing.

Lume matches Ts and no cyclops, so better there. Would help to have a straight-up photo of the dial and caseback/ movement pics.

If you want an opinion and advice, please post photos. We're not going to do a search on eBay just to answer your questions. Please put a little effort into your request for help.

What about "CHRONOMETER"?. I've seen it above "Seamaster". Is it also a hint for redial?

I just bought one of the sparkles from this website. Let me tell you, I love it. It was a gold capped one in almost perfect condition. It was a little smaller than I as expecting but wears beautifully.

That reference is not a chronometer. The chronometer day/date equivalence of that is 168.034.

I can not imagine the state of the case before the polishing :( Not an edge to be seen on those lugs.

The comments in this thread stand regarding the first watch no matter what the museum says.
