Probably depends on whether or not you're in the SAS I'd imagine, wearing it when not being an SAS member, either past or present would seem a little cheeky.
Apparently these watches were issued to serving members of the SAS, just found this on WUS.. http://forums.watchuseek.com/f7/serving-sas-soldiers-omega-planet-ocean-459478.html

Did I miss the copy of the museum extract saying this exact watch was one of the 4 that went on the expedition? I asked the seller "If you have the proof from the Omega museum that this is one of the watches, how come you didn't include a scan of that in the listing? ". Let's see what they respond with.
I am sure the crew of the Nautilus and several other nuclear submarines wore watches to the North pole too. I'm not paying 100k for their watches either. The moon, that's different
I have a watch I wore on a plane heading north to Terrace, BC, that didn't make it, then I wore it again on a second plane that took off for Terrace, but landed in Smithers, and left my suitcase in Vancouver. There is only one such watch. Yours for a mere €25000 (obo). Chris
