Still learning the ropes and how to spot fakes. It bothers me that the serial number is not shown.

What are your thoughts?

 

I'm looking at it from a tablet but I'm fairly sure it's real, the wording of the ad also gives me confidence. Though from memory a very trusted seller has one listed on the forums too

 

Looks good. Ask for a picture of the serial number on the case.

 

The serial is there if you look at bottom left corner under the dirt and grime it is there

 

Looks somewhat overpolished though at the lugs. If you're considering it , ask the seller:
a) if the GMT hand works properly
b) if the diver's extension works properly.

 

Short update, rather than bidding on the watch listed on ebay, I reached out to Kringkily and acquired a Great White that he had listed on the forum. Great communication so far and easy to work with. He has been kind enough to coordinate shipment to coincide with me being back stateside.

 

Smart move. Enjoy it.

Just make sure to ask all the right questions? Fully functional? No problems with hour hand adjustments? Time keeping? Date changing? Crystal condition?
