    Hey all,

I saw this posting on qualityvintagetimepieces.com. This Seamaster is exactly what I am looking for in terms of style, but I was hoping that you all would help me identify if this source is reputable and if the watch is authentic. Below are the photos and description from the website. Thank you!

And welcome to our humble abode.......

Overall, the dial fonts and layout looks good, but the Seamaster people will have join to see if all the minutia is correct.

    IMHO, it's overpriced at $1050.00.

Case slightly polished, cal looks clean, so does dial. Color of the pics make all look like yellow-gold. Crystal might be brand new, but I fail to find the Omega logo.
Would not pay over USD 500 for that.

When you say, that you fail to find the Omega logo, where would the logo generally be located?

Also, I was curious about the case back. I've seen many of the Seamasters with the Hippocampus on the back, but this one is smooth.
Does this mean that the case back in not original or did some of the pieces around this time not have it?

He means the crystal does not have an Omega symbol etched into the center. This is a feature of genuine Omega crystal.
Being fussed about that is a personal concern with some and not so much with others.

A Seamaster without a Seamonster on back is still correct but cheaper.

    Okay, thank you!
Do you know if there is any particular reason why some would have the Seamonster and some would not?

Cheaper to make, I guess. And most of them are American cases.

The ones with the plain backs were intended for inscribing, AKA presentation watches.

Looks good but definitely over priced by at least 25-30%.

Looks good to me and agree with others with the price. Too much. I would pay about 600-750.
