Is this Omega Dynamic Bracelet correct?

Hey guys! I bought this bracelet recently for my Omega Dynamic (managed to get a nice blue dial one for £100 which I'm going to give some TLC) and I am curious to know if there is any legitimacy to it.

It was only £55 so far cheaper than any other alternatives, so if it's aftermarket thats fine, just curious if the link design was even ever used for Omega Dynamics? - it's very Seiko-esque. I have seen two other examples of this bracelet, one claimed to be original but aftermarket clasp and the other was just aftermarket.

Also, I think Omega bracelets would usually have 'Stainless Steel' written smaller and Omega and references on the same part of the clasp right? I can see a few examples that just say 'stainless steel' and supposedly are all authentic and £200+, and other examples that have references but look rather cheap and not the correct quality for Omega. So perhaps they're quite a tricky one to call.

Either way I'll probably put it to good use and if I find a better deal I'll just sell this one on 😀

Looks like something somebody has cobbled together in my non expert opinion, especially the fact the width of the end link exceeds the case.

Looks weird to me.. And the part that is attached to the watch was heavily polished

Even if it is totally correct, I would not buy it. It is stretched and just plain nasty.

PS I agree with TET

Yeah I noticed this after, the width of the end links seems a dead give away somethings not right. Not the end of the world, essentially just wanted a cheap alternative to a strap. If I find a better deal I'll replace it 😀

I'll tighten it all up so it won't sit as loose anyway. I have to do the same for my BoR bracelets that stretch quite a bit in no time.

Thanks, I'll check that out. I have a feeling it doesn't have a reference on it so unfortunately may struggle but we shall see.
You should have a reference for the watch that belongs on that strap. There’s only a few that fit that Bezel.

Aah I see, didn't realise I could reverse search it, thought I needed a reference on the clasp. My watch is 135.033 according to Google (monocoque case which I haven't opened yet).

Which on that site would suggest the bracelet required is 7912/6, which on Google mostly appears to be used for Speedmasters and Seamasters and uses different end links. Online I can see some Dynamic bracelets referenced like 1181/215 which I can't see on that site.

Been a hot and busy week so not sure if my brains just turned to mush and the answers right in front of me haha 😕

Bracelet arrived today and can confirm that I don't believe this to be an original bracelet. We already know the end links were too wide and that is definitely quite important as, in addition to this, the links are actually too wide to allow the strap to go to the shortest clasp setting. Now this could be because links have been removed but more likely these links weren't designed with this Omega clasp in mind.

So I'll probably remove the top end links as its too wide, which will shorten the bracelet without needing to adjust the clasp, make the end links more in line with the lugs and then tighten it up best I can, as something to use for the time being 😀

It looks to be a Seiko bracelet with the clasp from the original Omega grafted on. I had a similar arrangement on a MKII speedmaster (albeit with different end links) before I replaced it for a NOS 1162/173.

Yeah I am inclined to agree, it looks practically identical in my opinion. My 6139-6002 has tapered links (i.e not the most common H-Link) I think so maybe a little different, not had them side by side.

For now I'm going to try remove that widest end link as the second one down looks about right for the lugs, then should be right kind of size to fit my wrists. Then when I find a better example I'll sell this one on 😀
