Hi Syrte, These watches has been cased in the early 80ties (apparently in Germany) using rest parts and movements. There are "Record", Longines, A. Rochat/Chronoswiss (and, I believe, some more brands). Not easy to state, if that´s a "real Longines" - because it was the wild time, when parts flew around for a few D-Marks or Swiss Francs. They all have the same - relatively massive - 18k-waterproof cases, similar dials, signed and unsigned V88/7XX movements. I sold a Rochat/Chronoswiss some months ago for 3,7k Euros. I think that´s ok for people searching a solid Valjoux88 descendant, but a Longines collector must not own these (??) rgds - h.u.
Thanks much @minutenrohr, very interesting, better stick to 1940s Longines as far as I'm concerned....
