Any issues that experts here see with this watch? Seller claims all original. Has the dial been restored or parts replaced? Looking to add a nice valjoux 72 to my collection. https://www.ebay.com/itm/142461465071Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
I do not know anything about Jaeger chronographs, but I find it hard to believe they would employ drunk monkeys to paint their dials. Badly pitted back, suspiciously low price. Make up your own mind.
It's a terrible redial (the worse is the 3 oclock subdial - blow it up and look at the edges of that subdial) the pushers might be wrong, and the lume plots are terribly damaged and the lume on the hands look off. Here is what a good example should look like, recently sold from EW - I believe it was listed at $4500 but probably could have been had for less, and in the end would be a beteer deal than this piece of crap. The one on this ebay listing has been listed for well over a year now...and for good reason. https://db.europeanwatch.com/24597.html
I need to stop even looking at EBay. 99% of the watches have issues. Seems there are no true bargains now just pay a fair price for the right example.
Some times deals and real stuff shows up on Ebay I was not the one who got this deal just the parts alone was worth it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/253055176429Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network There are a lots of fakes and redials you just got to learn how to ID the real ones.
