Fonts look good to me, so does the alignment of fonts on the waffle lines. But the line doesn't pass through the M in the usual place. The dial also looks suspiciously clean, but my theory on that is if you can't tell it was cleaned then who cares. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=111065582484&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:1120#IMGPic1Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Hmm... It would take a bloody good redialler to get those serifs that good, especially on a waffle dial, but the MOY is a little out. I have read there are some models where the MOY test doesn't fully apply. The the Swiss made has no T's, which is correct as there's no tritium. Then there's the genuine Omega crystal. I'll take a punt and say I think it's all good...will I crash and burn for it??
I'm not much of a Connie guy, but something about the applied logo and "omega", the "u" in automatic, the 2 "n"s in Constellation and the hidden crystal logo seem off to me. I could be very wrong, though.
Didn't we just discuss these fonts? I think it's okay but wait for the other guys to chime in. * clue to the finding the thread: Seamaster chronometers were also mentioned as having this same font.
I believe I found the mentioned thread, and re-educated! It's just that that applied logo looks so "unrefined", but after seeing a few other examples, I see now how that could be. Thanks ULF.
