Hi. I am new to the watch community and currently interested in vintage watch
I am looking at this Omega someone is selling for $CAD400
According to the seller it is
"1987 Omega De Ville “L’ile de France”, serial number 51163327. Gold dial and gold plated case with stainless steel back, 8 jewel quartz movement (calibration 1378). Watch has been lightly worn and comes with the original leather strap."

I searched the omega vintage archive from the information he provided but could not find this model.

Quite legit, most likely a reference 195.0075, but with a gold dial, so it may be a slightly different reference.

You need to get the case opened to check the reference number if you want total validation, and also to check that there hasn't been a battery leak which can be bad for the movement.

Thank you everyone. Is 400CAD (about 300USD) a good price for one? It is a quartz movement though. I checked on ebay and the sold price varied a lot

That's about the right price in Australia at an auction, but the only way you find what items actually sell for in your area is spending a few days watching online auctions and combing through recent listings of similar items.
