Hi someone said any brequet serial number more than 5500 is fake . This one doesn't look like a fake.....

 

You'd have to contact Breguet to find out for sure. the movement looks "poor" for Breguet who prided themselves on quality of construction.

You'll also have to include the hallmarks on the inside of the caseback as well. It would have most likely been cased by them as well.

 

Breguet says themselves any watch with a higher serial number than 5500 is a joke. Plus, Google vintage breguet pocket-watch movements and compare them to that inferior looking movement.

 

On second thought, the movement looks pretty legit. But the serial number is definitely too high.
