Hi have seen this watch online - trying to research if would have been one of the watches issued during WW2. Any help would be much appreciated!

No military marks, just a simple 3-tacche, waterproofed watch with a common radium dial. Looks all original with the hands and the crown.

The "Longines Watch Co Swiss" markings on the case-back suggest that it was likely invoiced to the USA. Based on the order number of 22'382, I would guess that it was invoiced around 1943-1945. However, as others have stated, the absence of military markings essentially preclude a "military watch" designation. However, it might have been worn by a soldier during WWII.

10.68 I assume. If you see "LXW"-markings on the movement, it was exported to the US. Not military, but looks all original.

Nice little 40’s watch- not military issue. Sure, someone could have worn it while in WWII, but if the seller is claiming it’s a military piece and is adding value based on that- then walk away. Plenty of watches that are actual military (not Longines in the US unless a Weems) for relatively little money.

I agree with previous poste. I don't think it is a military issue.
