Looking at a 145.022 Speedy when I noticed this caseback. The outer looked normal, but the inner looked like this. Is it a real caseback? The serial number is the 328xxx range.

    thanks.

What's your concern Anthony? Have you compared it to any others? ;)

I am new to the speedy, but the early 145.022 caseback I've seen have circular machining marks on the inside covering the entire surface. This one doesn't have those machining marks.

Now that you mention that it does look a little different than the usual. I'd be curious to know if that's authentic as well. Anybody have another Speedmaster in their possession where the inner caseback looks like that one?

There're *3* minor variations of the inside marking for the 71ST back and yours is one of them. The outside is quite consistent except one rare version with no engraved letterings. How does the outside of yours look?
