    Hello friends!

Looks a little to good to be true or what do you say? There’s an edge by 7 min, what could that be? 5DA10F2E-B72E-40AC-A48D-D6F16A9C3349.png

It’s difficult to tell without straight on images.
Judging from what I can see I would say it’s an original dial.

It looks original to me too. The "edge" is a gap where the tension ring securing the dial doesn't fit properly.

I see, the seller says it’s serviced recently...
Does that need to be fixed or is it ok if one can live with it?

I'm not qualified to answer this. Hopefully someone with more technical knowledge can help.

    The dial looks original.
Does the seller have proof of the service? If not, assume it's not true. Did he provide a photo of the movement?

He can’t prove service. Any idea what it’s worth? CEA1FDB4-5BB0-4BF5-B937-4FEC28AA658E.png Here’s the movement:

Since it still has the original yellow gasket and the movement in general doesn't look very clean, I would assume it hasn't been serviced in a long time.
It's a standard model and they are easy to come by. What is he asking?

It’s an auction and now the price is 250€, 8 days left and quite many bidders... Very useful information about the gasket. Thanks a lot!

By the way, how can you see that the movement isn’t clean? Looks shiny to me, apart from some stains on the big cog.

I would value it at 450-500 euros. Perhaps less, depending on the condition of the dial. It's quite hard to assess it adequately based on those photos.
The crown is not original wither, which hurts the value.

Both the cogs and the screws has dirt on them, which doesn't exactly scream newly serviced.

I'm looking for something similar. 50's/60's vintage seamaster. Although they seem easy to come by, it's difficult to find a good one <$1000 that you can be assured hasn't been redialed.

I wouldn't agree with that. I have bought loads of standard Seamaster 600 and 30´s from the 60´s at a much, much lower price than $1000.

Here are a couple of them that I have owned over the years. All of which, I have paid around $450-550 for. All with original dials in great condition :) And that is in Europe, where the prices tend to be higher than in the US.

Those look great. I've been relatively unlucky in my search and am definitely conservative and skeptical when browsing through Chronos24 and Ebay. Maybe something here will pop up with a reliable and trustworthy seller. Thanks for the pics!
