    Case is in really poor condition, plating worn off and generally just bad.

    Asking price would be too much even if it were in good condition.

    Take your time. Educate yourself so you recognize a good watch from one that's over polished, worn out and overpriced.

    This is not a good option. As others have said I would pass on this based on price alone and then you factor in the severely scratched case. I would keep searching.

    Oops sorry about that, couldn't resist! But as per the above comments, it really isn't a great watch. And it doesn't even say Seamaster on the dial! SMDVs are nice watches but it takes time to find a good one.
