    Hi guys!

I'm considering this watch and looking for an ID of this possible frankenwatch.

The seller seems legit and has gladly provided me with all requested pictures and information, however he cannot give me a ref. number or even a model name. Apparently it is supposed to a military inspired watch from 1947.

I have been searching this past day for any info, but can't find this dial (might be repainted/modified) and movement anywhere. It does seem pretty authentic to me, but I'm still new at this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Why do you say that?

BTW - The use of "military" is almost always simply an attempt to make a watch seem more desirable/valuable, it rarely is.
