What do you guys think? Movement seems to be a 218-2 which is incorrect? Case finish seems odd. Dial and hands look OK though. Very unsure though about this reference.

Fake, this kind of fake has been discussed in length between LoUs and Georgetownhoya in this forum.

Edit: spacing of GENE VE is the most obvious give away.

 

Thank you for replying. I thought so too. I read their research but still couldn't really be sure whether it was fake or real. Either way, I think I lost my interest in this UG polerouter generation already...

 

I think based on LoUs' thread some of them do come that way? 2 versions of the 1st generation? Or did I read the wrong thing?

You didn't read it wrongly, at first I thought so too but the discussion didn't end only in that thread, it carried on into newer threads and the conclusion was as such finally, got to love this forum, massive amount of knowledge inside.
