    Hi, I am completely new. I wondered if anyone can tell me if this is a real Omega Geneve? the number lines have indeed been painted over (okay, too bad). I think it is acceptable to myself.
    I have been able to buy it for a small price. I only see that "swiss made" are above the dashes at the bottom. The timepiece is in any case a real 565 automatic (serviced). I have seen that.
    Who can tell me something about the (authenticity) of this watch?

    It's a real Omega, no doubt about that. The dial, hands and indices have been worked on with varying degrees of success, however. The crown is a service replacement.

    'original', but with all the issues mentioned by ConElPueblo. Pretty obvious refinished dial, and dog knows what they did to the hands and indices.

    thank you all for your response. nice to know that it is in any case an original. Well one with a good history I think;). the watch is running well, even though it is redail, I am happy with it.
