So understated and elegant, I can see two gents sitting by the fire after a fox hunt in the English countryside, one of them gently puffing a pipe, the other checking the time on this watch.

Surprised he took that in to sell any one with a brain knows that one will be a hard sell maybe years. Mite make more money faster by taking the jewels off and selling those separately to a jeweler and sell the rest for parts .

I've never been able to find any Daytona I liked, and boy I've tried. This one is just ridiculous. They do sell stuff on consignment, I'd bet this one is consigned.

 

You definitely would not worry about bumping into someone else in public wearing the same piece!

 

There might be a couple rubies of decent colour, and maybe a couple sapphires. But tourmalines, citrines, peridots, and amethysts? They're worth more on the watch than they would be, loose.

 

It is that ugly that it even looks fake...

When people talk about Rolex being a conservative company, I just point them to this watch.
