Hi, I'm attaching the photos of a watch that a friend offered me, I know that the crown doesn't look original and neither does the bracelet. He's asking $330, do you think it's a good deal? Thanks for your help.

Ref. 2705-1
Perfectly working.

No.

Case has rust issues, dial looks like it was cleaned with steel wool. Movement looks tired and worn.

Pay more and get more.

Ask him if it’s mates rates
He'll give me a lower price if I propose, he doesn't know anything about watches.

I have seen ads for similar watches for over $1,000, obviously in better condition.

Need more context. Is this your first watch? Do you actually like the watch or are buying it because of the OMEGA logo? I’d start with a Seiko Presage at $330.

no, it's not my first Omega, I have others.

1. Omega Del Ville Prestige Tonneau 1681220 - 18k 750 gold
2. Omega De Ville Symbol “Ankh” - leather strap Ref. 1960316
3. Omega Constellation Electronic f300Hz Ref. 198003
4. Omega Dynamic automatic Ref. 52405000
5. Omega Geneve f300Hz 1972 - Ref. 98030

These are currently some of my Omegas

Dial is a mess! Watch looks tired. Don’t look at how much you saved, but how much you spent.

Aren’t you the chap who wanted to learn about ‘investing’ in Omega watches?
This watch is an utter dog. If someone offered it to me for $50 I’d politely decline.

I’d take that for £36 that’s a bargain 😀

I’d start with getting rid of a few of those as step one.

What references/models you prefer is your business and if you like them, that’s what’s important. No one else opinion matters.
However, “condition, condition, condition”. The watch you’ve posted here is bloody awful.

Which ones would you focus on?
Get rid of the ones that don't bring you joy, and that you don't wear. Determining value/what to buy/etc on anything but what makes you happy is just going to make you not happy.
