Is this a fake movement in an old Omega pocket watch or what?......

Dial looks very original to me. But the movement? It looks like a predecessor of the T2. But strange font for Omega name. Not the very old “serif font” but also not the newer font type. No serial number. No mention of jewels. What is this?????

Some of these older movements weren’t signed, so at least your is. Looking fwd to other’s thoughts on the script too. The serial # is likely on the other side, under the dial - with the Swiss, convenience come first 😝

Feels legit for a turn of the century piece.

Omega "Art Nouveau" hunter case, circa 1900.
Gilt metal dial with a "braided" centre, "Paris" style Arabic numerals. Blued steel "Poire" style hands.

Possibly a 17/19''' SOB caliber, but need size and better pics to determine.
