Is this 1968 SS Constellation with a 751 worth bidding on?

Not my favorite style of Constellation. I think the price is too high already, but as others around here will tell you, I'm a bottom-feeder.

It may be possible that there's been some re-lume work done on the dial. The dots seem too large to me.

I'd pass on this one and save my money for a nice "C" case or integrated bracelet Constellation with the cal. 751. Shouldn't be too much more than this one.

    Hope this helps,

    Gatorcpa,
Thanks so much...it did seem a bit pricey...so I will pass on it.

$550 is about the maximum that particular style should go for. As gator says, it's not a very popular model.

If I wanted a good wearing watch and I was new to vintage Omega, I would pay up to 600-650 for this. It is certainly better the many of the 6xx Seamasters you see for $600.

An update...it went for $635 with three different people bidding at least $600. I think that is a little more than I wanted to pay for it, but I do kind of wish it were on its way to me.
