http://www.ebay.com/itm/OMEGA-speedmaster-29151-ORIGINAL-/350758122432Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network No patina, but I recall reading that the early dials and hands were not lumed with tritium. If that is original, it is sexy as hell....
I am not soooo ablolute sure ... see the follow link ... http://www.pocketwatchesforum.com/t196-les-omega-speedmaster-a-anses-droites-un-post-incontournable
Dial and case looks correct. But that price combined with not even inside pics is typical for our Italian friends
Everything prior to the 105.003 was lumed with radium. Not sure with the 105.002. Radium seems to age better than tritium, but it still ages, and generally shows and orange/brown patina.
105.002 is radium. You are correct with "generally" as it can be dingy yellow, blackish, and dingy off white with dingy dark gray.
If the 2915-1 in that link is authentic, then the bezel in the eBay watch would appear to be a replacement.
I agree. The bezel looks to be off of the 57' re-issue. Look at the font of the letter "A" in the word BASE from the original compared to the re-issue. The one for sale has the font of the re-issue. I also think the hour and minute hands are from the re-issue as the minute hand extends further than the originals I have viewed.
as said, everything seen on the pics beside dial and caseback is not the genuin stuff. I doubt even the case, as the caseback looks like it does not screw in completely, what is typical, if you try to screw a 2915 casback into a 2998 or later case.
The bezel and hands are clearly not original. I have questions about the dial too. It shows no age at all! No photos of the movement. No photos of the back. The 2915-1 back is different with Speedmaster on the periphery.
