Thank you for sharing. One of the things that scare me is that I would buy a fake watch. This will definitely helps a lot.
At least in the description it says most things are redone. It looks ok but it's not going to be of interest to collectors
Arrogant french fake seller ramin_314 typical fake shiny bezel, fake "refinised" dial, fake hands fake caseback signed by faker, they have a good sense of humor
Same seller (ramin_314) but a different watch. The bezel has a certain shine to it and the case back is looks engraved by hand (and a bad one) https://goo.gl/5fce3o
The "signature" is the logo of the Afghan Air Forces. https://omegaforums.net/threads/seamaster-600-strange-stamp-on-case.3387/
I was talking about the Seamaster 120 that was listed on ebay that was clearly not original (not the Seamaster 600)
If you were talking about the one pictured on this page then I'm talking about it too. Did you have any evidence or knowledge to say it was fake? What exactly was clearly not original?
I was referring to the one I posted a link to on ebay uk. The listing was removed before the auction ended so I can't see the photos any more but parts like the bezel, dial and hands didn't look original. It also had the Afghan Air Forces insignia engraved on the case back. I would have thought that an Afghan Air Forces issued Seamaster 120 would be quite rare but several seem to have popped up on ebay lately.
You You responded to dragoman's post about the watch pictured on this page. That watch is not a fake. None of the watches pictured in this whole thread is fake, FYI. At least there's no evidence that any of them is fake. Just because someone is unfamiliar with all the variations of a watch doesn't mean that watch is fake.
