Hi guys, This is one of my very first post, and I have 4 omegas, go figure. I recently purchased a Speedmaster 145.022-69, cal. 861 serial 30994xxx. It's in great condition, signed crystal and the movement as well, very clean. I'm wondering if it's too clean! The lume looks aged and there is a small crack in the second hand which would make me believe the lume is all original. Here are a few photos, I was hoping for some feedback. I don't have a photo of the movement but the info I provided was from when I had the case back removed after I purchased it. Thanks!
No, it's just the lighting. It has the brushed finish on the top of the lugs and sides of the case. But perhaps a slight one .
The case has some wear to it, and that is as it should be. Serial fits with the range of these, and the caseback looks fine. It has a DN90 (dot next to 90) and not a DO90 (dot over 90) bezel. The early series had the DO90, and the later a DN90. More about this here: http://speedmaster101.com/145-022-69/ It looks to be a very decent condition 145.022-69. Congratz!
Nice watch. Love the step dial. I have a -69 in the 30,xxx,xxx range also with a DNN bezel.. While not as desriable as DON, I believe it to be correct (MWO says all serial numbers after 30,594,xxx should have 'bezels without the accent').
