I found a beautiful Railmaster at an Omega dealer in eastern europe with the serial number of #9. It's an amazing everyday watch and I'm considering purchasing it but I'm wondering if the fact that it has a low serial number makes the purchase a little less painful because its more collectable... Thoughts?

Agreed. No effect in value imo.

Condition and originality are the main defining factors.

So is it a Railmaster or a Seamaster? Thread topic mentions both. Or is it one of those P.A.F. Railmasters with a Seamaster text?

    Share pictures maybe?

Do you mean Limited Edition # 9

Doesn’t really matter if it is 2 or 200.

Some Chinese may like 8, 88 or 888

I assume the OP means the new LE Railmaster, and the #9 refers to the LE number, not the serial number. In this case, the number is really no more valuable than others, although some may put a premium on certain numbers (e.g.,, 1), but that is going to be a personal thing.
