Is it true? Did Al Pacino wore a Omega Constellation in the movie The Godfather?

The only thing I can confirm from that picture is…..it probably is a watch. Now I have to watch the movie again and try to get a better view.

Coppola be like, “I need the OmegaForums/OnlyFans contingent to love this film.”

No doubt.

Wel it’s clearly not the same bracelet.

The lugs look more like a fancy lug JLC or something similar to me.

Being a watch nerd, and a Godfather fan, I've often wondored this same thing!!! In the boathouse scene during his mother's funeral. there's a good shot of his watch when he's speaking with Connie.

Is that watch gold?

the scene earlier posted as another shot that does appear to show a pie-pan like dial

Cool that Omega named the watch after Michael Corleone's sister.

Am I insane or (don't answer that!!) or doesn't it look like two different watches??? One looks like it's on a strap, and the others on a bracelet???

A continuity issue in the 'Connie' sequence? (But I do love Coppola's matching of watch and character for at least one of those frames - wish all directors paid such attention to detail...).

As always, google to save the day!!

Though the question wasn’t whether someone on the internet claims to know the watch worn, the question was whether the claim is correct👍

Those are different scenes in the film: one hug is at the mother’s funeral, the other hug is the “I know it was you” scene

It's not an error to have a character wear different watches sometimes. Most of us here do...

Would only have been a continuity error if it had been two watches in one hug...or maybe not?
