It looks just fine to me. Beautiful watch and a great first Omega! I like the rubber strap - how does the watch feel?

Seems about right. You might not be able to pull off the bracelet, which has more prominent shoulders and doesn’t taper. But on rubber it looks like you’re right at the limit—in a good way.

It’s a lovely watch but if you have to ask then the answer is probably yes, it is too big.

I have skinny wrists but in my earlier collecting days, I bought a few 40mm watches and after the first flush of acquisition, didn’t really wear them. Luckily mine were Seikos and they were ideal presents for sons in law with bigger wrists.

I found that 35/36 even 38 were more comfortable to wear and felt better on my wrist particularly if they weren’t dive watches, which not only have wider diameters but generally greater depth/thickness.

Good luck with whatever you decide

It's always a good idea to try a few different watches to compare. Watches wear differently on different wrists, and the choice is very personal.

How does it feel is really the important question. Does it wiggle around when you move your arm? Is it super tight, or is there a bit of space to allow it to breathe? Have you tried one with a bracelet, or maybe even a NATO strap? Lots of options to see if it truly feels right for you! Let us know!

It looks great to me. I have a 43.5mm Planet Ocean and a 6.6 inch wrist and I like the way mine fits. No need to feel guilty about liking big watches just because some magazine or YouTube channel says big is out. As others have said, try different sizes until you find what works best for you. That's a beautiful watch!👍

I'm not just saying this because you now own it. But its actually perfect size for your wrist diameter and shape. Your forearms are also large. Nice choice!

I'd say that's right on the upper limit, but wearing it on black rubber seems to work well. The black dial, sloping bezel and smaller aperture make it wear smaller than the dimensions might suggest. The only way you'll really know is by living with it for a while, and comparing to other watches (welcome to the addiction)...

As always, do the lugs overhang your wrist? If so it’s too big. If not it’s fine. Your wrist size maybe better suited to 40mm watches or below.

But as a sports watch you can go larger.

My sweet spot is 39mm, but I’ve also got a 36mm for my formal occasions and used to own both a 44mm & 45mm watch as my daily’s.

Now days I probably wouldn’t go larger than 42mm but again it all comes down to the lug to lug length
