I want to share another of my uncommon watch ( in my opinion). Omega seamaster in jumbo case (36.5mm) with textured dial. Moreover, wording of chronometer was shorter than automatic, also pointed “A”. View attachment 976701 This serial number of this watch is 1,476,9xx (indicate production year was around 1955). Caliber of this watch is 354 , 17jewels. The caseback reference has 3 numbers as shown in pictures. “2657-2494” “2521-10” “SC” I also created another post about the seamaster jumbo with chronometer officially certified in this forum. (Using the same number inside the caseback and serial number was different only by “626” , comparing with this watch) https://omegaforums.net/threads/my-...tre-officially-certified.112122/#post-1482253 I’m not sure about the font of my watch (it's hard to interpret due to textured dial style; different style of “S”in the “Seamaster” word) What’s your opinion ? (Redial or not?) Does someone try to add“ chronometer officially certified“ later to increase value of the watch? So sorry, my English is not so good . Best regards, Teerapat
Not added, I think. It is a re paint. The omega is too thick, even for a hobnail texture. Which is tricky to print.....kind regards. Achim
Hi all members, I found this seamaster chronometer, please note that shape of “s” in seamaster word quite unusual. In my opinion, this omega ref.2521 (owned by @Seamaster66 ) used the original factory finish. He posted it here: https://omegaforums.net/threads/show-your-honeycomb-textured-omega-dial.14340/page-7 I compare the font of “seamaster” vs my watch. My today wrist’s shot. Best, Teerapat
It looks really nice though! The "seamaster" looks really quite straight compared to the mesh of the dial
