·I'm waiting to hit 200 posts as well. But don't want to post nonsense.
Is it possible to get a pass on the 200 posts so I can trade a watch band?

·I apologise if this comes across as cranky, and I'm not singling any particular members out, but I'm not sure why people are so focused on getting past the 200 post rule.
There are many other places to post stuff for sale, and many of them have much larger audiences. Go sell there.
And it doesn't take very long to get to 200 authentic - non-BS - posts anyway. Maybe it's because I have no need to sell anything, and if I did I have great references and several hundred posts elsewhere. But I just don't get the over-functioning of people lately on the sales forum rules.
I love this forum because generally the membership is more mature and the content is much more instructive and entertaining than other forums.
Just relax, read, and post if you have something to contribute. If you're just here to sell stuff, move along to somewhere else.

I myself was seeking access to the WTB section and not the sales section, however I agree with some of the comments above - I'm a long-time member over on TZ-UK, and this comes up on a very regular basis - there's even a 'runner-spotting' thread in the member's area..
The major difference over here I've seen, is that side-stepping of that particular rule is sometimes actively suggested and offered, so I think it's to be expected that newer members will try.
As has been commented on other fora, it's often the sales section which first draws a new member to the forum, but it's the other discussion areas which then (hopefully) cause them to stay..
