Hello everyone, I recently found this supplier claiming he is an authorized dealer of tag heuer and sent me a certificate authorization from lvmh (the corporation that owns tag heuer) and he sent me a full catalog of old models of tag heuer that he is selling with box and everything as brand new for crazy prices, I had to try it so I bought one for myself to check it out. I would love to know if it’s possible that the watch is genuine, has all the signs and everything. Tag heuer aquaracer quartz WAY111A.BA0928
Adding some pics of the watch.
Same as the tag heuer he sent me also a certificate for breitling & tissot

If anyone knows about those kind of suppliers or whatever they are please help me out.

Since it’s so crazy, what was the price?

This ^

My impression on whether it’s legit or you’ll get a box of crayons is influenced by whether you bought a $2500 watch for $700 or whether you bought a $2500 watch for $90

If he's an authorized dealer you should be able to find his information from TAG's site by searching for ADs in Hong Kong.

This thread has a scammy feel to it, IMO. Why would someone join Omegaforums to ask a question about a Tag Heuer. Proceed with caution.

The re-post of the Cartier with the 8 days PR in the real or fake thread is equally weird.

Tags like that routinely change hands at a deep discount to the RRP so your idea of a crazy discount may just be the regular NIB price...

If anyone contacts the OP to follow this up I think you need your head examining...

I recently encountered a Tag Aquaracer which required attention. I was totally unsuspecting what I found when I opened it! You guessed it! A Chinese movement. I was astonished at the high quality of the fit and finish of the case, bracelet, etc. before I opened it! I buttoned it up and returned it to the owner!

Tried to join the tag heuer forums but I signed up with google and it doesn’t have an option to do so

That Bezel looks wrong to me in a couple of ways, and the color of the indices is supposed to be VERY white. Looking at other pictures, I suspect that is a fake. Pull the back cover is the only way to really tell for sure, but I'm suspicious just from your pictures.

There have been some very good TH fakes around the last couple of years, so it’s a brand I would hesitate to buy unless from a very reputable source…

Remember if it sounds too good to be true............then you shouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be so!
