·@noelekal @Duracuir1 I'm one of those odd fellas that grew up shooting Colts. As a result I anticipate and utilize that stacking trigger when shooting DA. You pull against it until right before it breaks and hold it for a moment until you're ready to shoot and then complete your pull and the trigger breaks lile glass. With Smiths you don't get that and I always wind up pulling my shots just a touch because I don't have that feedback from the trigger.
Anyway, Steve that's a nice holster made, which is about what I'd expect from you.
Bryan, I have a similar photo of a New Service and a Police Positive I took while my daughter and I were shooting a few years ago.

Waltesefalcon, I think my finger is permanently configured to the K-Frame and N-Frame Smith & Wesson trigger. The stacking Colt double-action trigger pull never fails to disturb my aim. Align the sights and I struggle through the trigger loading up and then the shot breaks, going "somewhere off towards Jones's" as my good old gun club bud used to say. I never could stop during the trigger pull and then press and do any good at it.
I can easily center the target with hits by pulling straight through the Smith & Wesson double-action trigger pull. Align the sights and pull the trigger straight through with enthusiasm. Gain gratifying hits.
I can manage my Colt Detective Special's double-actoin trigger better than any other Colt revolver I have on hand including the vaunted Python. I can manage any of my favorite Smith & Wessons far better though.
Oh well, that's why they made Hamilton and Illinois pocket watches. Folks gotta have their preferences.
To bring this thread back around to our Duracuir1's topic at hand: Either brand of revolver is certain to slip in and out of a Duracuir1 crafted leather holster with greatest facility.

··Never Used A KodakI think your OF business in holsters might be a new thing. Looking fwd to seeing the results. Is that pellet gun spring and piston? Caliber?
.22 Caliber. Uses CO2 cartridges.
And on the subject of holsters, here is a case circa 1900 that I picked up several weeks ago. Hoping to use it as a pattern.
