I am very adicted to buy an vintage omega, recently I am offered an Seamaster with the following info:
series:2828-8 sc
caliber no: 471

And the pictures: (I tried to ask for a better photos, but it seemed that the seller was so lawy and just took with smartphone)

I have checked with the omega database, the watch seems to be genuine for me, but I am a noob in this field

can you please tell me if it is genuine and worth to buy it 450 EUR?

Generally looks OK - keeping in mind that I only know enough about these to be a danger to myself and others.

I'd want a better picture of the dial, which appears to be guilloche.

IMO, that price is in the right range. You'd be taking some chance on this one without better pics & more expert advice.

Because the seller lives far away from my place, I have to decide whether I should go to see it or not.

 

The dial looks like it had been repainted.

Note this is a mid-size watch, only 32-mm.

Price about $200 high considering the dial and size.
