Is a grey Dynamic face unusual

I’ve just unboxed a Dynamic with a grey face and haven’t seen one till I bought.
Seem to have been lucky as there was a surprise under the case lining. Purchase receipt for £30 to include three extra straps (he really took the concept on board!)
I’ve seen blue and white but was a single colour unusual or possibly an early version?

Any thoughts ?

Certainly a rare version as the ones I came across were also as you say white and/or blue. Nice looker you got there for sure. 👍

Single colour dials aren’t uncommon (see my avatar), but the bulls eye dials (blue and white) are the most iconic and seemingly most sought-after Dynamics - though I personally don’t care for them.

This looks like a great pickup and will be fun to wear. Enjoy!

Hi
It is a clean design like the iconic Scandinavian Skagen or Jacob Jenson. Timeless (to use a bad punn)
Only issue is a small chip in glass which I can live with but how much might a replacement cost?
Any ideas?

It’s definitely worth getting a genuine Omega crystal. The last one my watchmaker sourced for me (my C-case Constellation) cost £65 including installation. One word of warning - I had to wait quite a while for the part to arrive!

Seen a few mostly blue ones , saw some white too but a grey never a great , guess is a rarer dial version . Nice looking watch love the way the case hugs the wrist !!

Silver and a sparkle dial. Nice combination. I think I have seen a gold sparkle on a Dynamic, but not a silver one. Great buy.
Not a dynamic, but here is my silver sparkle from around the same time frame.
