Looking over these options of watches with 2 dial chronos, reviews are kinda in the middle. Not fantastic but not bad. Is this a case of 3 is definitely better than 2?
What are the OF experts diagnosis of 2 function Chrono watches

I happen to quite like them. Historically speaking there where some beautiful choices for 2 register chronos in the past. The cal.320 Omega Chronos as well as the cal.146 Zeniths come to mind.

In your case I'd go for the Tudor personally. I can't wrap my head around an automatic Speedmaster.

This discussion might also include quartz chronographs that include four chronograph registers. Depends on what the watch is used for. Speaking for myself, I have two, three, and four register chronographs. I prefer the three register ones. Which is best? To each his own.

So from a historical perspective these will not end up as a novelty item when it comes to watches?

The Tudor is interesting, only a few hundred bucks more than the Black Bay time and date model.

Are you asking our opinions on which we like better based on appearance? Because "OF experts" can't "diagnose" anything.

    I own the Tudor 79350 Chronograph… ( I also own pre moon Speedmasters )

The Speedmaster looks like,… every other Speedmaster ( with tweaks )

The Tudor is built like a Tank,( considerable heft ), with a distinctive Dial, & fabulously accurate in-house Movement

    Just my experience

Are you asking about quality or aesthetics? A big part of it is how you like the looks. If the point were just to keep and tell time, an I watch or a Swatch watch is just as good - and considerably cheaper.

man, what a tuff crowd. I don't doubt the quality or craftmanship. The thrust is did the designers at these watch makers come up with the 2 dial chronos and this configuration is hated by the watch community and could be relegated to the dust bin of watch history. Kinda like the dumbass at Ford that said "hey lets have a Mustang II for the woman drivers"

I'm all for women drivers. Or rather women pilots, like Amelia Earhart. But in any event no, the two registers are not "dustbin" of history material.

You know, if you maybe read a little, you too could be experienced in the field of watches.

    Just a thought.

Who stores their watches in a field? They'd get dirt, pollen, and all sorts of crap all over them.

I did read several reviews of the Tudor and the Omega. But most reviews that I read for products are usually skewed. Say for example guns, I know the guys writing the reviews get free shit. To keep the free stuff flowing the review is usually glowing even though the gun is crap and people hate it.
So I am looking for opinions from real people wearing watches and not a guy that can have a tilted view because the watch manufacturer sent him a watch to "review".
