    Hi Guys

After spending a week or so reading all your recent posts and trying to take in as much info as I can, I thought I would introduce myself by asking for some opinions on a watch. If this is a dud I would appreciate being pointed in the direction of some recommended seamasters.

I have asked the seller for some more pictures. However, I have a concern (right or wrong).

My concern is the seller states the watch is cal 751 but all of the images I have seen of watches that have the same movement have both day and date.

    Is this worth $500?

    I would appreciate any feedback...

Correct - it's not going to have a 1 as the last digit since it isn't a full 360˚ rotor caliber with a model number over 500 that has a chronometer rating, and the 75x series had the day & date functions. It might be a 55x or a 503.

Can't say until we see the inside of the caseback and movement. If all is correct it's a fair price for a gold capped model.

    (edited to add 503 info)
