You can purchase from the Private Sales section without 200 posts, just DM the seller. But 200 posts are needed for listing items for sale and WTB posts.

I'm a big Dynamic fan, and there are several good threads to research here. Here's a good one to start with, has some other links in it:

I've owned a few of the bullseye dials, but I'm most pleased with this blue sunburst dial I recently found.

Or try searching the OF site via Google like this:
http://site: omegaforums.net dynamic watch

for example if you want to search for "dynamic watch".

thank you all for your helpful suggestions so far. chrono24's nicest omega geneve dynamic watches are nearly $2k!
i'm not in a hurry and rather enjoying the hunt, so to speak. also, the time educating myself as to what i'm looking at
is worthwhile, imo.
Pretty much everything on Chrono24 is priced very high. A lot of those watches just sit and don’t sell at those prices. Some will state that they’re open to offers. With patience you can always do better regarding price.

They prefer a strap (made out of some type of textile like leather, nylon, etc) as opposed to a bracelet (made out of metal). In this specific case (hah! pun not quite intended) the Geneve Dynamics came with a leather-like strap made out of a material called Corfam in addition to the stainless steel bracelet. I don't remember the specifics as to which was the default option. I think Corfam but not sure.

Exactly.

The original perforated straps add to the funk and vibe of these watches.

imo, the metal bracelet makes the watch much more masculine and "formidable," but not for the reason of inspiring fear. it reminds me of strength.

this is my current favorite watch: approx. 1970 Bulova Accutron.
it was given to my father by his wife (my step-m) as an engagement gift, so it has a lot of sentimental value. some years ago, he gave it to me.
i like the sound it makes when held up to my ear. i believe it's the vibration of the tuning forks that creates the hum. here's a link to a great article
on the accutron; a fun video ad, and other tidbits: https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/reinventing-time-original-bulova-accutron

Short addition: Beware that there are replicas/new manufactured metal bands from Asia. The middle part, who connects to the case, is too thick and you can not close that band correctly to the case. Which make it prone to loosing your watch. Ask sellers about that and get very good close up pictures.
