    I am not an expert and new to this forum, but have a white dial one. I did some research. These were recased into a Denison unsigned case by air ministry in 1956. Dials were also redone. I think it is totally legit. My opinion is that they are worth $900-$1200

    Here are images lifted off a seller's site, roughly three years ago.

    I tried negotiating a trade for this specimen without success. (It has since been sold.) My sense is that the one on Ebay you've shared has a refinished dial and handset. [Note the close gap between movement numbers, too.]

    it is correct, art. many of the original 1943 ones had luminous radium applied to their blued steel hands for better reading against a black dial and better night vision. right hands; just coated. all dials were reprinted. all examples fine. kind regards. achim
