    Hello all,

I was looking at this watch but unfortunately the seller can't send me a picture of the inside caseback. Has anyone seen this dial pattern before? Does it look legit to you? It's a 33mm case and looks like it might be a 30T2, unless I'm mistaken.

    Thanks!

Dial looks ok to me, but movement is cal. 370, not a 30 series. If it were 30T2, that case would be about 37mm.

Dial is original. Here is the exactly same pattern on an automatic Omega:

On the first watch, I can see the word "SWISS" at the bottom of the dial. This is a pretty good indicator that this is a US market watch and was cased in a US made 14K gold or gold-filled case. The one immediately above also has "SWISS" and a US made case.

    Hope this helps,

Thanks for your help as always. Any concern that the minute hand extends beyond the track or was that common?

Yes, but you didn't ask that question before.

Seconds markers are perfect, that's what really stood out for me. Love those arabic/sharktooth markers.

    Dial shows age well!

    Happy Hunting,

The minutes and seconds hands can extend beyond the track - they are also targeting the markers. And it is not unusual on thoses kinds of watches that the minutes hand is longer than the sec one. But in your case I think the hours and minutes hands may be too long.

The price was too good to pass on so I ended up buying. I'll post some pics including caseback once it arrives early this week!

Looking at additional photos, I'm thinking more and more that the hands are good. The second hand stops right at the second track while the minute hand extends to the outer marker. It is very similar to the watch in the image below. Perhaps @MSNWatch can weigh in?

    Hi,

You could be right! But in your watch, it seems that the hours and minutes hands are a bit larger and longer - but maybe it is the pic.

Not necessarily a big deal if you lié the watch though!
