This Longines crossed my desk today: There is a dedication on the back dated back to the 30s Caseback says 20360. A Google search came up with this one, but from the 60's https://new.liveauctioneers.com/item/31983831 The fonts are different, but 30 year gap so who knows. Can anyone let me know what I have here?
They're both from the 30s-40s. The one from the Google search is definitely not from the 1960s, the movement serial number puts it in the late thirties, circa 1938. The one you've got is redialed. others know chronographs better than I do but I'll say this must be a "12.68Z stop second" which is the Longines monopusher flyback movement from that era, often found in small 30-31mm gold filled cases.
I would just add it's a nice movement like all Longines chronographs of that era. Here's another in a small size: https://omegaforums.net/threads/help-with-a-longines-12-68z-flyback-repair.41633/
