It helps if your watch has just had a fresh overhaul and service by the best trained Omega guy they have who knows how important it is to get the service right. He doesn't want to be the one to have his service fail on a moon mission. For the common schlub....hit or miss.

theres an omega service guy on tranquility, surely?

Well, this sentiment falls in line with the responses you’re giving in your other Speedy thread. Seems you just want to create drama. I’m out

Again... I lurk of all kind of hobbies and purchases and whenever Ive asked 'certain' questions... BOOM - a user is attacked for asking questions...

Can Omega/you prove they rounded it up?

And if they did, does it drastically leak at those diffrences?

Unless you're being sarcastic?

Water depth testing is always done to +25% of the rating, So a watch that is 100m will be tested to 125m and 50m to 62.5m so within the 200ft.

So rounding up might have been easier, to saying 164ft

I have never had an issue.

I swim with mine all the time. I just don't depress the pushers as the instructions say. Should I not be?

Funny I was thinking about you the other day when I changed the strap I was wearing with a knife instead of a spring bar tool because I was at work and grabbed the new NATO from the post office on the way to work. Should have sent you a video 😁

Just don’t wear it while:

Drinking a Kale smoothie
Reviewing your tax return from the previous year
Changing the wiper fluid in your car
Trying on 100% wool pants
Peeling an avocado
Centering a piece of paper on a copying machine

Apologies for my abbreviated list; I’m certain there’s a big one I’m missing….

OK but

WHO PEELS AN AVOCADO?

How else does one make guacamole?

You mean you don't use a straw to extract the insides?!

I have never had an issue.

I hate to start a Rolex vs Omega argument.
But Rolex mostly tests to the equivalent of 110% of the depth rating. On their divers watches they test to 125%, which is in accordance with the ISO standard.

I understand that only a certain percentage of Speedy Pro watches were tested for their water resistance at factory until METAS testing came into play, which requires all METAS watches to be pressure tested.
But I'm not so sure about the pressure figure👎

Is it true that Omega universally tests all their watches to 125% of the depth rating?
Am I mistaken with what you are saying?
