Bridge marks it as a caliber 281, but only 3 parts stand out as Rg. Balance bridge, main plate and click. Ratchet and crown gears not polished, center wheel spokes and pallet plain and balance is not split bi-metallic A check shows there were some movements with 281 or 262 bridges, but all the Rg parts were there in the make up of the movements So. Genuine or made up from parts? Very clean though. Curious as to how high it will go DON
Based on your observation plus the balance wheel itself does not look correct no earnshaw cut that I see the balance wheel looks like a glucydur balance I would say it is a put together movement However one will never know for sure my best guess it's built from spare parts I would pass on that movement
Here is a pic of mine. I notice 2 differences just on the balance. Cut next to the arms and the arms look to be steel on mine. I am pretty sure mine is all correct, or at least as sure as I can be.
I just finished a 30t2 with subsidiary seconds hand, today, and it has the solid monometallic balance. But it would appear as though the subject watch is assembled of bits.
If it is really a 30 T2 and not a later iteration (265 or the like) it must have a bimetallic balance - otherwise it has been swapped at some time in it´s history.
Sold for $1200. Amazing. Buyer has over 88,000 transactions on Ebay any only one bid in the auction Could almost buy a complete watch for that DON
