interesting listing for a 321 movement with 15m serial, listed as for a 2915.

    spot any issues?

I'd happily buy it at triple its current bid. It was very possibly in a 2915-1, as the database I keep shows two others with 15, 500, xxx serials, and I'm sure there are more from that range. If someone else here is hoping to buy it, send me a message, and I'll lay off it. I don't need it now, but you just never know.

Achim, I'm Jack. I hear you have a symmetrical clutch bridge you are desperate to unload. ;)

We only know for certain that the one bridge has been changed. Not to be difficult, but if it is a cal 321 with the proper serial number and proper parts, I'm not sure it should matter. None of us can know with certainty that a bridge or any other part hasn't been swapped out of any of these old movements. Am I wrong to think this? It's much more important to me that it fits with other 2915-1 known serials. One could make the case that the bridge containing the serial numbers alone is worth the current bid or more. And I'm sure most of you know how much some of those 321 parts can fetch.

I think the point you're making is interesting. The movement could be several years newer (though I think the general wisdom is the 321s were produced in a relatively short space of time and used over the years). I can only reiterate, that serial number is very valuable, and I don't personally see any ethical dilemma.

The serial bridge may fit the range for 2915s. Is that what you're talking about? The movement appears to a fair bit younger though.
