Cheezy Ukrainian reworking of a pocket watch. Considered a sorry bastardization among watch collectors. Essentially worthless, speaking financially.

Well, I just love the hands . . . and we should note the seller states - "All items are guaranteed to be authentic, we DO NOT sell reproductions (unless stated in the description)" - so it must be alright, of course ::facepalm1::

Not something actually produced by Omega.

As noted by Lou, these are just reworked pocket-watches with no collector value.

Love the case clamp folded over the edge of the dial. What craftsmanship!

Basically it is a pocket watch that was converted to a wrist watch. The case and movement are not genuine Omega parts and of course the dial has nothing to do with Omega. So basically you have a random pocket watch that was "skeletonized". The watch itself holds very little value as a collectable and the fact that it is a fake makes buying or purchasing illegal in many countries.

Thank you all for the feedback. I have seen all the other Ukrainian "Omegas" for sale, but since this was supposedly a US seller, thought it may be different. Sigh.

I have noticed a few US sellers who have listings of these watches on eBAY. Must be big business.

I blame this guy for these atrocities... and all his steampunk cohorts.

I'd go further than that. It has actually ruined the value of an otherwise, perfectly good, pocket watch.
