Hey everyone, I was thinking of getting one of those square constellations but the integrated bracelet looks like it could be an issue. Does anyone have experience with them? Is it possible to replace it if need be with a custom leather one? I posted a photo below for reference.

Can you elaborate on why exactly the integrated bracelet would be an issue? Personally I wouldn’t buy this model of watch if I didn’t like the integrated bracelet concept, rather I’d simply buy another watch with standard lugs.

I just mean in terms of wanting to switch to leather if need be.

I’ve had one of the integrated bracelet Constellations since new. Almost 50 years old now. The bracelet has been totally reliable, and still looks great on the watch. It provides a smooth and seamless interface with the case. If you like the look, you should go with it.

I understand the pleasure of being able to change up the SS bracelet for a NATO or leather strap, I do it all the time. I'm simply saying that these unique "integrated bracelet" models are perfect as they are; any alteration doesn't make conceptual sense. Therefore, if you wanted the option of swapping out bracelets I would acquire a standard lug Connie, or Seamaster, etc.

Agreed, it does have a charm to it.
