Good morning,

Tonight I could not sleep and therefore, just to do something, I had a little test with my reflex.
Although I am not expert in macrophotography and above all, in nightly photography!, I tried some shots on my two Omegas: the grandfather Seamaster Cosmic, just serviced and recently presented you in this forum, as well as the new Speedmaster bought in February. I hope you'll appreciate this sleepless night' outcome.

What do you use as source of light? I always have horrible result with room lamp only and it is quite a work to set up lamp tent.

 

My old abat-jour lamp, on the night table. The base is a neoprene protection case for my Ipad.

 

Pretty nice work. And thanks for sharing. Coming from a fellow insomniac, those sleepless nights does get the best results. Maybe it has something to do with keener concentration.

 

Maybe you right! or maybe these watches are so fascinating... I don't know if this is the first nightly-photography topic concerning two Omegas in this forum. Maybe it's a little record.

Nah, some of us routinely shoot by desk lamp the night we get a new arrival. No worries though, keep on snapping.
